Gallery 126

Gallery One Two Six was opened in November 2002 by proprietors Anne and Stuart Boggs. It is the only commercial gallery in Armidale. The gallery has proved itself as a major venue for showcasing local artists’ work. The large exhibition space is part of Armidale Framing & Art Supplies situated at 126 Jessie Street, Armidale.

The Gallery has wheelchair access and a cafe next door.

In addition to static displays of jewellery, sculpture, prints and various artworks, the space includes a designated gallery where exhibitions change every 4-6 weeks. The exhibitions feature the diverse works & styles by the large regional artist community.

Paintings by Stuart Boggs, a well known local artist can always be viewed as well as
works from the storeroom. The gallery’s stable of artists include; botanical artist, David Mackay, printmakers Anna Curtis, Lin Quaife and Anne Irvine, landscape artist Isabelle Devos, papercuts by Brigitte Stoddart, landscape & figurative artist Robyn Jackson, sculptor Tony Sevil who uses found objects, watercolourist James White, jewellery & sculpture by Gabrielle McGrath.
